"Green" Hostel in UK Uses Sheeps Wool for Insulation
EDIT: changed from NZ to UK -- I made a mistake in the original posting.
Hostel has wool inside and sheep outside:

YHA Eskdale, part of the national Youth Hostels Association network, has had a green makeover. As part of the energy efficiency work the YHA has installed sheep's wool insulation, which will help reduce the building's carbon footprint and enable visitors to be educated on green issues.
...
Thermafleece, a form of insulation made from British sheep’s wool, and supplied by 'Second Nature' has been installed throughout the centre’s loft spaces. The installation has been funded by the YHA’s ‘Go Green’ Fund, an initiative established by YHA members in order to support green programmes and schemes.

why on earth are kiwis buying wool from britain!?!?!?!?
:D
I guess it's a contextual mistake. I rather think the breed itself what is categorized as British sheep, according to its origin! ;)

Don't know how anybody got the idea this is a NZ hostel. It's a story on a UK website talking about an English hostel, specifically Eskdale YH. No kiwis involved.

Good catch... Sorry about that. I was posting while tired. Not sure where I got New Zealand from but I usually have dozens of Firefox tabs open -- must have also been looking at a NZ article in another tab.

Good point! The secret of British sheep has been revealed! :)
There was no relation to UK in the article (beside the hosting site) and I've never been to Eskdale to know about it's location. Thanks for letting us know! ;)
