Sorry... I re-read the article and there is no fix. They might have changed the article because I think it used to say that updating Windows would fix it.
Try Firefox as an alternative to Internet Explorer. Firefox is immune to this attack. At guest access computers I used to change the icon for Firefox to the "blue e" (symbol for Internet Explorer). Then delete all shortcuts to Internet Explorer. People who aren't tech savvy will often look for the blue "e" to launch "the Internet"...

Just run Windows Update to get the patch:
With any version of Windows, just run Windows Update, which you'll find in IE's Tools menu or in the Windows Start menu under "All Programs." Vista users can just type "Windows Update" in the Start menu search box to pull it up, then click "Check for updates" on the left side of the window. Either an Express or Custom run of Windows Update will find the patch.
