I know this hostel has been mentioned before .. because its a pretty nifty website but is this the way hostels are going?

a mixture of hostel, hostel, lounge ..offering a little for everyone

I do like the Skype conenction directly on the front page

but is this the way forward?

Although I like the design of the hotel (not really hostel) and love the look of the website I personally do not think it is really wanting to be part of any backpacking market.
I have visited the place twice and on both times there where people of average age of about 40 but having said that they where positive on hotel.

so top answer your question is it the hostel of the future, I do not agree.

Regarding skype: There is a link where anybody can create a skype link for your website. great free service for your guests calling you free.

Think of this Skype and Nokia are working together to get free calls on all new nokias by the end of 2009.

That website does a great job with a webdesign tool called jQuery.

If you haven't seen it yet, I wrote a tutorial on how to add a Skype button to a website.
