Attorney General Bill McCollum and Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink, rival candidates for governor, said Tuesday that online travel services are swiping sales taxes from the state.

McCollum filed a lawsuit against Expedia and Orbitz, the two largest online travel services, seeking a declaratory judgment on whether the state's 6 percent tax applies to wholesale or retail hotel prices.
