Now this is something different – a temporary pop-up hotel room/art piece built around a fountain sculpture.
The newest hotel to hit Singapore may well be its coolest: a single-suite pop-up property built around the city's iconic Merlion statue on the quay of Marina Bay.
I wonder if they have to meet the same fire code and wheelchair access requirements as other hotels.

Regarding the five-star accommodation, only 32 nights were available, with reservations strictly on a first-come, first-served basis _ and the hotel was fully booked one hour after the reservation line opened.
Could we could build something like this with an 8-bed dorm instead of a hotel suite as a way to promote hostels? The revenue would be higher than $118 per night :D
