Hello! My name is Kiki Farwell and I am a Canadian girl living and working in the Peruvian Amazon. I am currently working as the programs co-ordinator for Legends Lodge, located in Nauta, in the Amazon Basin of Peru. Our Objective is to educate the local population as well as foreign travelers the culture and customs of the Indigenous Cocama tribe and the issues facing native communities in this region. Offering a spiritual retreat including ayahuasca ceremonies and healing sessions with a qualified shaman, workshops in various fields such as art, medicine, trekking and other aspects of jungle life. Specialized and customized excursions are available according to specific wants and needs. We are connected to a large network of individuals and groups in the communities to provide guests with the maximum quality of authentic experience of life in a tranquil Peruvian jungle town. In close proximity to the famed Pacaya Samira National Reserve- tours and volunteer placements available. Looking for volunteers and clientele who share an interest in the natural world, revival of indigenous cultures, great times for a great price and most of all, living the dream we all had before coming to Peru........
