Initially, it will fly on medium and long-haul routes, including to Australia and China. Longer term plans include flights to India, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Yes!! as a Indonesian, I'm very proud of Lion Air to put such an order.. the forecast of growth in Indonesia is amazing. but sadly it is not followed by the infrastructure. Hopefully with the growth of cheap air travel, it would have positive impact on hostels. Right now in Indonesia, people invest in budget hotel. Not many people know about the Hostel concept. The word "hostel" still have a long way to become familiar here.
