Is there any requisite for registering at Hostelworld or Hostelbbokers?

Hi everyone,

our Hostel will be ready in a week, and we want to know how is the process of registering at either HW or HBO. I did all the steps for signing up the Hostel (except the last one because we didn't have any picture yet) and it seems to be really easy. Is there not any requisite to get registered and advertised by them? Is just to add the picture and the information? Could please anyone explain how is the whole proceess?

Also, I have read they may take like 30-40 days, so some people advice to get registered before starting the Hostel. Is that possible?
