Opportunity partner wanted - hostel in la paz, baja california sur, mexico

That's right, my wife and I are looking for a partner to invest into a new hostel business in La Paz, Mexico.
We have the commercial building which is family owned but we don't have the funds to convert it. It is just 4 blocks from the Malecon right in the heart of La Paz.

I am English and my wife Mexican.

As yet we have no figures as to what needs to be spent or what percentage the investor will get, we are just testing the water to see if there is anyone out there who may be interested. The amount that needs spending depends on how nice we make it and what facilities we provide.
The percentage to the investor depends on how much they invest and whether or not they are involved with the everyday running of the place. If you only invest but don't do any work this will effect your % naturally.
Either way a legal contract will be drawn up to protect all involved.

We have a restaurant in north Mexico now so we have a professional kitchen, stove and stainless worktops, sink etc etc and loads of tables, chairs and eat-ware.

As far as building goes I am experienced at making things with wood so building bunks for example would be easy (cost 100 dollars per bunk to build). Decor easy. I know some plumbing. I have basic building knowledge. The place needs partition walls, shower rooms etc as well its a blank canvass. We have no pics until we get down there next month.

The high season is in the winter and we would look to open in time for this year.

As we live in Ensenada, 20 hours drive from La Paz, the earliest we could meet in La Paz in person would be a month from now but we can meet in Ensenada anytime.
