“Tattva” has been inspired from the Sanskrit word meaning ‘Element’, representing the five elements from which life evolves: Earth, Water, Air, Fire and Sky.
Tattva Design Hostel will give you an enhanced hostel experience. Details and design have been carefully blended to create a new level of comfort and intimacy, as well as plenty of common areas in which to socialize.

2 beautiful buildings classified as “World Heritage” have been recovered and totally refurbished to make the largest hostel in Porto, with breathtaking views on the higher levels.
With 16 rooms and a capacity of 116 people in total (Female Dorms, Mixed Dorms and Double rooms), Tattva provides a unique experience in terms of comfort:

LOCATION
UNBEATABLE location in the “heart of Porto”, and part of the “World Heritage” protected area.
50mts away from the metro (which has a link to the Airport) and S.Bento train station .Close to all main city attractions: Sé Cathedral, Sao Joao Theatre, D. Luis I bridge, B, etc.
Also close to the main shopping streets, bars, restaurants, supermarket etc. ALL OF PORTO´S MAIN ATTRACTIONS IN THE CENTRE ARE WALKING DISTANCE.

FIND US

From Airport take metro line E (PURPLE). Change trains at Trindade station to line D (YELLOW - D. João II) to S. Bento Station - 2nd Station after Trindade. 

Arriving at S. Bento metro or trains stations, follow the road to your left upwards towards D. Luis I bridge. Just as you get to the top ( when you see Se Cathedral to your right), turn on your first left in Rua Cha. Follow the road to its end (about 50mts) and when you see a fountain in a V-shaped intersection, you will find Tattva to your right in Rua do Cativo 26-28.
