I saw you are looking to buy a hostel and I know you said Austria, Switzerland but have you thought about Transylvania in Romania.....amazing mountains and huge tourism potential. Eastern Europe is now more popular with backpackers than the West as it is a cheaper holiday and region to travel and so tourism is booming. I saw you have a maximum price of 400K and that is exactly my price but not just for a business and fittings and features but for the two real estate buildings so much better investment in the end. We are No1 in the Lonely Planet 2013 and if you look at my advert on hostelmanagement you will see photos of the place which won awards for interior design and renovation in all of Romania. It featured in architecture magazines and in National Geographic Traveller too.
