A recent email sent out from WRI to hostels announced the merger of property support services for Hostelbookers and Hostelworld. Your HW Buddy in Dublin will now also be your HB Buddy.
From WRI:
Dear Partner,
As you are aware the Web Reservations International Group, which operates the award winning websites hostelworld.com, hostels.com and bedandbreakfastworld.com has recently merged with the equally successful and internationally acclaimed brand, Hostelbookers.com.
Up until now your property has been supported from the Hostelbookers office in High Holborn, London. From today your support will now be provided through the combined group’s main support centre in Dublin.
As your property is already listed with Hostelworld.com we are delighted to be able to refer you to your existing Hostelworld.com representative who will also be able to assist you with all queries related to your property’s Hostelbookers listing.
We will continue to invest in the individual award winning website brands and the enhanced resources of the combined businesses will also allow us to:
- Inject more resources into marketing and services attracting more consumers to the websites and to your properties.
- Increase investment in technology platforms to improve the efficiency and ease-of-use of our systems and sites, for both property owners and consumers, through all channels including mobile and tablet.
- Enhance our level of support to you as property owners.
We hope that having this single point of contact will result in a more streamlined process for managing your listings across both brands.
We would ask you to please bear with us during this period of transition.
We look forward to building on our existing successful partnership.
Regards,
Your Hostelworld.com & Hostelbookers support team.
