I have just opened a hostel and am currently trying to get my hostel listed on Hostelworld. It had been nearly a month since I signed up, but they didn't reply me until I rang them up. Then they just sent me an email asking if I agreed with their conditions. I replied them straight away, but I still haven't heard anything back from them yet. It's been a week. Does this happen to anyone, or is it just me? :(( How long would it normally take you to have your hostel information up on their website?

I was also waiting some time but since I'm impatient and no one contacted with me like they said after 1 week I've signed up once again + contacted with them one more time. Finally I think it took 3 weeks to activate our hostel. But I'm still waiting to have active profile on hostelbookers.

After so many emails and phone calls, I finally got my hostel listed on Hostelworld, Hostelbookers and Hostels! Phewww! Why do you have to wait to get an active profile on hostelbookers? Since Hostelworld has bought Hostelbookers already, once your hostel gets listed on Hostelworld, it will be automatically on Hostelbookers as well! :)

So for both of you the process to get listed took about 3 weeks?
Has anyone else listed a new hostel recently? Was the time frame the same for you too?

It's been 2 weeks for me. I sent photos, informations,... but they did not response me the next step. Then i contacted support team of HW. Support team helped me to remind the person in charge. Then finally i got response from the person in charge. She asked me to send photos, informations which i already did. But i didn't mind to do it again. Then now i'm waiting to activate the profile....
Is there anyone know how long does it take to activate profile and finally bookable?
