I see that you have air conditioning units in your rooms.
I'm wondering how do you plan to regulate their use??
Are you going to set up the temperature for the unit and leave it to maintain that temperature or will you allow the guests to do so??
Don't know if there is already a thread on this but I'm really wondering about how to deal with this situation where some people might be to warm and some to cold staying in the same room. Resulting in fight over whether to turn the air conditioning up or down.
Any experiences from other members??

Actually, I just have air conditioning on those two rooms because these are the last floor rooms.
I m thinking to put the control inside the room and I'm cointing with comun sense for everyone... LOL
Just the experience will give me that answer... :D
Anyone have this experience also?

Ok, I got to the right post!
I believe that the structure is gorgeous but since it´s close to the roof you´re gonna have to deal with the electricity bill! That closeness to the roof makes it very hot or very cold, You would have to lock it somehow to a certain temperature. It´s hard but you can deal with it. I do not remember how many rooms and beds you have but this 2 have that issue to be sorted out.
We have ONE remote control, and we turn off the devices once everybody is aaken and wondering around the hostel. The common areas are kept in a basic temperature, and they are turned off during the night.
It´s all about experience though. I can see in the pics that you have water so that will make summers a little more template.
Our electricity bill goes real high during extreme temperatures.

As this is the last floor and is quite near of the roof, it makes that during two months of Summer it can be very hot and the two months of winter can be very cold also, that's way I chose the air conditioning for those rooms.
However Aveiro has a temperature quite temperated, so I'm expecting to use it just on hardcore conditions, but I have to manage this is an inteligent way, to avoid the exponential increasing of my electricity bill... :(

I've more experience of attending events in a community hall where there is heating. Often the heating is set far too warm, and there is no thermostat accessible to users, so people have to open windows and doors in the middle of winter just to get some cool air!
On the other hand, if there is a thermostat, some people, if they find it too cold, simply turn the thermostat all the way round to maximum, which defeats the point of it.
Even so, I think your solution is the correct one. The problem arises already in dorm rooms where some people (like me) like a window slightly open at night, whereas others like them all totally closed.
