It's costing David Buckfire more for his cat to fly to Florida than his wife.

While Vicky Buckfire is paying $278, Sophie the feline has been charged $300 round-trip for a Northwest flight in November.

"And my wife is going to get a seat, and Sophie has to sit on the floor," says Buckfire, of Farmington Hills, Mich.
