Hi guys, can anyone recommend bookkeeping software? Or training videos... basicly, I haven't a clue :D

Hi Irish_Guy,

I use Quicken but most people will recommend QuickBooks. However, I don't like/want/need all the Estimates and Invoicing features in QuickBooks and these features seem to get in the way for me. I really like the fact that my custom PMS front desk system exports to Quicken so I don't have to data enter income and manager expenses. That said, Intuit seems to really want to phase out Quicken but I'm still holding on for now.

You could also check out wave accounting - it's free to use and it does mostly everything. Might be worth starting with this and then upgrade to something else such as Darren suggested once you get your head around the accounts.
