A few users have let me know about a bug when they try to search the site. I'm about to do a software upgrade that should fix it, but I have to take the Forum offline for about 20 minutes.
If you see a message today about the site being offline, it will be back soon...

I have just installed phpBB latest version on my site. It's working OK, but there were a few large niggles. Sorting out the Permissions took up more time than everything else put together. The trouble is that, like so many packages, it has so many features that I don't want. For example, when I started it, the default was that every post must be approved by a moderator before it appears. But I dont have and dont want a moderator! And it was incredibly difficult to find the right place (or the right 6 places) that had to be changed.

I have the same problems with this software. :)
The migration was working, but I encountered a problem. I'll try it again next weekend...

still unable to access it.

Sorry -- the update didn't work. I'm still working on it, but I might not be able to fix it before the weekend. I would hire someone to fix it ASAP, but they want close to $5000 for the upgrade, which is not available in HM's short-term budget. :hypnotysed:
