Hey! im going to open a hostel in brazil next summer. my partner is brazilian and i'm a foreigner need to get a visa.after a research i did i saw that i have have 3 relevant options that requires different things 1. to have a capital of 500k- which i dont have 2.to have capital of 150k and show in the business plan that the company will hire 10 brazilian workers in the next 2 years 3. to get a working visa and then my brazilian partner will have 100% shares of the company-which i prefer not to do. i would love to hear opinions and information for option 2 or if there is something better that i dont know about. thanks to everyone!

Is issuing the visa contingent on you actually hiring so many people or just showing in the business plan that you intend to? A business plan is a very dynamic and fluid document that can change constantly based on any factors that affect your ability to do business. Would the visa be revoked if you changed your plan later and hired fewer than 10 locals?

As my research for investing in brazil:
500k = investor visa at beginning , after 1-4 years can be turn to citizenship and after that passport.
150k = 2 years work permit , renewable every 2 years.
well, it sais must hire 10 Brazilian employee but you always can change your business plan and negotiate with officer when you want to renew your visa for this matter .
i heard for small business it shouldn't be a big deal and you can find away to sort it out .
