Do you clean the chairs in your private rooms?

I saw this in another website's forum discussion about tips for hotel guests:

always put a towel down on the chair at the desk in your room when you are working there.....I saw a gross TV report on hotel room cleanliness and they pointed out that sooo many times naked people sit there checking email or whatever and they are are sitting there butt nekkid and have not wiped their a** well enough.

It was a bio documentary on the amount of fecal matter that was present on hotel room chairs.

Maybe something to let your housekeeping staff know about if you have chairs in your hostel's private rooms :)

OMG. That seems slightly paranoid to me. That person should be shown what´s in old pillows. I have read that the typical pillow consists of 20% dead mite and mite excrements. Or that 90% of all cells in human bodies are actually not human, but bacteria.
