Does any body knows whats the best place to open the Hostel ?

I am working in the Hostel as a person who just study the Hostel mamagement , I have got an idea to open one too .

Does any body knows what city is more preffereble - Budapest , Bucharest or Saraevo ?
When I was travelling I liked these cities a lot , the only thing is to find out which city is more touristic , or will be more touristic in the recent years .

Are there any touristic surveys where it is possible to find out the touristic weather in the accommodation offering business perspectives ?

I am from Bosnia, currently live in Belgrade and have seriously started about opening a hostel here. As for Sarajevo, I haven't seen any hostels there, I know there is a couple in Mostar. I don't know if you have been to Banja Luka, a very interesting place to open a hostel I believe. Belgrade is the place, Buchurest I'm not so sure about, they don't have a classic "downtown" area, the city is big and spread, with lots of capital moving in, companies, military, construction, etc. Bucharest is blooming with casinos, prostitution, etc. and I am not sure it is that attractive for backpackers.
I've also read that when it comes to hostel business, the more the marrier, which also puts Sarajevo in a strange position. Sarajevo is a strange place, half city, half provincial town, and it's been like that forever. It has physical limitations to become a true touristic destination, mountains arround it, very narrow geography, etc. Belgrade though is the place to go, I don't know if you've been there ever... I mean , does any body knows the web site where is the statistics survey of the countries , cities of the visited tourists for the last years or fore the last season ?

budapest is over priced and there are already hordes of hostels.
bucharest still has a long way to go economically and romania has an incredibly undeserved reputation as being dangerous/shifty.
sarajevo is an awesome city but has no real legal system to speak of. i bumped into a couple of people from the world bank there and spoke with them about my idea of a hostel there and basically it CAN be done, but if you get screwed by a supplier, landlord, builder, accountant, lawyer... anyone, you have virtually NO legal recourse. in the end, you're f@cked. bosnia is still effectively under EU/UN control and theyve probably got bigger issues on their plate than helping out the little guy who wants to set up a hostel for backpackers. but there is at least one backpackers there... its a dive but hey...

of the 3, id say bucharest has the most going for it - joining the EU is flooding money into it, its cheap and has a lot of growth potential. personally i didnt care an awful lot for the city, but lots of people love it.
