We're looking at moving from our current managed system of Wifi, which is reasonably expensive, to running our own wifi, free for our guests.
I'm trying to work out what router would be suitable for this - we'll probably have about 50 active users at once (who I'm sure will all be trying to download stuff) so it will need to be a pretty heavy hitting router.
Any suggestions on brands, or what I should be looking for in a router?

You will likely need a number of repeaters as well as the router itself.
I have a router and 3 repeaters from the company below.

You can also create a portal with these so every time or set period of time the customer is shown a certain website when logged in

Due to the high number of computers on the network, there will be lot of processes for the router to handle. It may be hard for a router built for home use to manage them all effectively, resulting in slower response times and the impression of a bad internet connection. It may be a good idea to buy a commercial router designed for office buildings with lots of computers. A less expensive alternative could be a gaming router because they are specifically designed for handling lots of processes at once.
