Webmasters can also add the +1 button to their websites:
http://www.google.com/webmasters/+1/button/
Here is an example:
If you are signed up with Google Webmaster Tools, you will be able to see information about the +1 clicks.
Google has launched Google+, a new attempt to take on Facebook.
If anyone would like an invite, please send me email address and I will send you an invite. Or, if you already have an account, add me by using that email address.
Google has already been showing the +1 button in search results if you are logged in (1), and also showing things that your Twitter contacts have shared on Twitter (2).
They have another site where they show what people have voted up with the +1 button:
http://www.wdyl.com/
Google+ brings it all together into a massive social network, something like Facebook.

If you want to try out the +1 button, I've added to the HM homepage:
http://www.hostelmanagement.com/
It's also on ever forum thread, by the "Reply" button. (I would have put it in a different place, but these forum templates are tricky.)
The +1 button is Google's version of the Facebook "Like" button.
I still have a lot of Google+ invites left. Send me a message with your company name (so I know what "circle" to add you too), and I'll send you an invite...

Thanks for the invite Josh. I've started adding hostels' Google+ profiles to their listings on BUG and will add the +1 button in a day or two.
The +1 button seems to work a lot like the Stumbleupon button but it has the potential to be much bigger linking with Google+ accounts and potentially having a big impact on search engine results.

...and potentially having a big impact on search engine results.
It will show people that their friends like a link, and will probably affect rankings and clickthroughs... something like this:
