Seeking opinions on what online marketing you choose to invest in

Hi all, 

First time posting here! I used to be an operations manager for a hostel in London a few years back and am currently looking at starting my own business.

I'm hoping to help hostels and independent hotels improve attraction and retention of valuable LGBT+ guests (who are more likely to gravitate towards chains and Airbnbs).

I would love to speak to any marketeers or owners about what and where they spend on marketing their hostel. How do you choose what to spend your marketing budget on?
