Start a Hostel
Is anyone interested in sharing their hostel business plan with me or providing it to me for a fee?
Alternately, can anyone recommend one of the "canned" business plans I see available on the net? Here is one example:

Finally, I would be willing to work together with other folks on this forum to research and fill-in some of the generic parts of a hostel business plan template.
Having written several business plans for other businesses, I am fully aware that my own hostel business will end up being quite unique. However, having a template to work from saves a lot of time.

I have also a spreadsheet that people might find useful. Its not perfect but you can play about with the variables. Feel free to put it on the wiki, I would but i don't know how!

I have seen your costs and
I believe you need to break down those costs on a monthly basis
It would be easier and more accurate to calculate (unless u have already done this). personaly i think your wages / salaries are high and runnning costs rather low. have u included laundry and food etc ? 45 breakfasts a day ?? etc..
what is your occupancy rate ?
I would be happy to discuss this frther with you as I have done a 3 year business plan broken down in cost and income per month per season etc..

I am in escrow to buy an 1888 Victorian in Auburn, Ca. We are looking for other private hostel owners with hostels in secondary market towns that can provide some insight as to their experiences. I am in the process of writing the business plan and would love to receive any Business Plans that may act as a good guide. Peace and Blessings.

Is there any way to get them back? I would love to look at them for our hostel we are creating/making a business plan, etc.
