I thought on a similar plan but doing 5% or 10% discount if backpacker bought a 7 days card that can be used in some hostels (doing an agreement with several hostels), but during summer time that can be worrying, taking in consideration overbooking... But this website idea is very cool and can be helpful for small hostels having a big exposition to the market...
