Is a hostel room ensuite if it's only half a bathroom?

A hostel sent in this question to post in the forum:

[INDENT]If a room in a hotel has only a shower, or, only a toilet and sink, is it still considered (and advertised as) ensuite? I know you can create such a distinction in plain text, like, "ensuite shower" or "ensuite toilet" when describing a room on a website, but these capabilities are not necessarily available online through 3rd party booking sites. How would you advertise a private room with only a shower (no toilet) or only a toilet and sink?
