hostelworld is not responding?

Hi guys,
After much planning, obstacles, heartaches, we can say that we are now close to launching our small and humble backpackers hostel in Singapore!
Following through the good practices/suggestions - we wanted to open up for bookings at least a month in advance to the openning date.
Problem: hostelworld doesn't seem to be responding to our application. It has been more than a week now and we have not heard or received any replies from them. Is this a known thing - I thought we were supposed to be contacted within 48 hours? :(
Hostelbookers on the other hand have been quick to respond and we managed to get the hostel published within a few days.
Is there a way for us to be in touch with the folks at hostelworld?

I know that hostelbookers.com are very quick but HW ? a week waiting ?
Maybe they are too busy or maybe they have too many properties ???
Did you check if they accept any more properties in Singapore ?

How do I go around checking this? Could someone perhaps speak with their hw buddies / reps to confirm this?
It would be really unfortunate to stop accepting applications from this city (esp when i see some of the current properties listed there are not exactly the hostel type of accomodation). blehh~ =(

The Hostelworld Conference is happening, so I wouldn't be surprised if they are busy over the next few days.

you've nailed it. Finally got a mail from the rep 2 days ago. Did all the necessary setup and now patiently waiting for the activation.

I'm in the same boat, all set up last week then I emailled my "buddy" to activate me...no reply for three days. So I email again yesterday and get the out-of-office auto-reply with out the contact information for the person to contact while he's away. I guess after a year and half of planning and working I can wait a few more days :(

Woke up this morning and HW had already sent me a couple of emails and activated my account.

My Hostel is Wicked Hostel - Calgary, AB Canada Upscale boutique backpackers, pretty amazing location (we are closer than any other accomodation-provider (hotels included) to the Saddledome/Stampede grounds here plus we are in the heart of Calgary's city centre entertainment areas. We're also across the street from a major Calgary city train station.
How about yourself, where are you opening?
