Which hostel in Naples is that? Seems like a thing to do as long as you are full of Australians! :D

This is Giovanni´s Home.
Phillip, you´re right, there are 24 guests, 19 are Aussies. :)
The owner lives in the hostel, cooks pasta every day and gives a little show sometimes. He is what makes this hostel really unique.

Yeah, thought so. Australians do get around. ;) When I did 4 months of traveling through Europe a few years back, there was not one hostel which did not have at least one other Australian in it.

really cool, this gent seems to make it very personal. There is warmth in every1s face because of it.

Indeed. He even drives around guests on his scooter, although I´m convinced he does that vor a very selfish reason: a pretty Bionda on your pillion and even the Ferrari drivers will be impressed! :D

The Bay of Naples.
Naples is on the right side. The urbanized area on the left is Pompei and a couple of other suburbs. The two islands are Capri (left) and Ischia (right)

Nice photos! Myself and my partner will be in Napoli and Pompei this Friday having a look ourselves! :) And after that the ferry down to Palermo, Sicily.

Are you already booked for a place to stay in Napoli? If you aren't already booked for Palermo, I suggest the night ferry from Napoli to Catania (on the eastern side of Sicily) which is cheaper. The area from Catania upwards is great for visiting the Etna volcano, Taormina and the beautiful beaches close to Giarre and Riposto.
I recommend Giarre/Risposto as a good area to stay and can recommend some beautiful B&Bs/hostels in the area.
