How to monitor online reviews

An easy way to monitor what people are writing about your hostel online is to sign up for Google Alerts.

Type in your hostels name, choose comprehensive and once a day.

You will then get emails whenever Google finds Web pages that mention your hostel.

It helps to create several alerts, one with your hostel's name in quotes like this: "my hostel" (including the quotes), and another with just your domain name like "example.com". The quotes mean that you will only get alerts when the words appear on a Web page together in that order.
