I'm curious how much traffic hostels are seeing from mobile devices. On many of my websites, about 10% of the traffic comes from mobile devices, but it can be even higher.
If you use Google Analytics, you can see what percentage of visitors are using mobile devices. In Google Analytics, click on "Mobile" and then "Overview". HostelManagement.com gets 10.92% of traffic from mobile devices.
Clicking on the "Devices" option shows what kinds of mobile devices people are using. On this site, most of the mobile traffic comes from iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touch.
Does anyone see significantly different percentages?

Update for 2014: I've seen hostels with well over 30% of traffic from mobile devices, and I think that it will keep increasing.

At the moment one of our websites gets 28.7% mobile and 10.5% tablet
Our other website has 26.6% mobile and 16% tablet
I've been surprised by how high this is to be honest because neither of these websites are optimised for mobile devices (however I am working on it). They do work pretty well from mobile devices though.
I hate my websites at the moment, it's one of those things I am always meaning to work on but never have time to finish.

A good way to increase your Google ranking for mobile rankings is to make sure that your site is responsible and optimize all your images.
Google PageSpeed Insights will actually optimize your images for you (and you can also see exactly how fast your website is running across different platforms).
