I want to start a Hostel in Chicago. What is requirement to get License for a new Hostel. How to get the license? Where can I get all info I need.

I just checked and it looks like there are only 3 or 4 hostels in Chicago -- the 3rd largest city in the US. There is another property called AAE Chicago Parthenon Hostel, but it doesn't look like they offer dorm beds. Chicago is probably a great city for more hostels.

Requirements change country to country, city to city. That is why we can be of little help unless one of us has a hostel in Chicago.
I would suggest that you visit the planning department at the city council as a start and, if they cannot answer a specific question, they could probably point you in the right direction.
