My name is derek and I'm a 23 year old american. I am looking for investors/ business partners to start a hostel/bar and possibly a boat charter in Central america. I am likewise interested in investing in an already established business. I am open to the location but panama has always caught my eye. I have talked to few owners and have an expense/income report from one in Bocas del Toro, Panama that lists taxes, license requirements, etc. I have experience in bartending, cooking, and boat operation/ driving/ nautical navigation. I have a small amount of experience working at a couple hostels(a work for free stay type deal). I have about 50k-70k USD that I am willing to put into it. However, I will not be discharged from the US Navy until 2017. I am looking for someone who has a decent amount of money to contribute (minimum 30k USD) and willing to wait and thoroughly research the endeavor before jumping into it. I would rather have someone around my age as a partner but it is not a requirement.

I have the perfect location in Bocas del Toro to do the type of project you have outlined. I am a veteran of the U.S. Army and I can appreciate the skill set that can be developed in the Navy. The property is rather large, so the project could expand over time.
