I live in Germany and work for a health insurance. Since I have broken my wrist 2 month ago I cant stop think of quiting my job and leave germany.
From 2012 - 2014 I have traveled around the world. I was many times in hostels and I am dreaming since years to run my own. But how and how to start?
Thats why I try it here. I want to find a partner who wants to invest with me and share ideas.I have some money. But it is not enough.
I can speak german, english, some spanish and croatian. So lets figure it out and start this!

Hi all,
I read these posts with interest. I have no experience in the hostel business but after a long marketing career I am moving to Cololmbia January 15th and looking for hostel opportunities (initially on 6 momnth tourist visa). I have capital but no experience, although I have managed my own business before in a foreign country. I'm particularly looking at Caribbean coast of Colombia. Happy to talk to anyone that may have advice or potential partnerhip.

Hi all,
It's great to see so many like minded individuals with the dream of setting up a hostel business. I am currently based in London but have the dream of investing in central/ south america. I have experience in renovating properties and have a good eye for detail. Having travelled extensively and continue to do so, I have seen many hostels and would like to create somethig with all the basics in place, great vibe, nice chill out areas, activities, tours etc. and all done to a high standard. I have some capital to invest, just need to find the right opportunity that allows a steady income and a great way of life. Open to partnership too.
Would be great to hear your stories and if anyone has invested anywhere yet?
