Google added the new features to my account and I've been experimenting with them.
Here's the segmenting feature where you can compare different segments in one graph -- a "segment" is a group of visitors, represented by a different line in the graph below:
(comparing all visitors, search engine visitors, visitors referred from other websites, etc.)
Here's a video tutorial that shows how to build custom segments, for example, showing a line on the graph that shows the number of website visitors from California. If you're tracking conversions (number of bookings) with Google Analytics goals, you could even add data to the graph like "how many website visitors from the UK made a booking"
Another feature is custom reports. The video below shows an example of how you can show the bounce rate by city. You can then drill down by clicking on the name of the city to find out which sources are bouncing the most.
For example, you could look at the main report at see that 65% of your visitors from London are only viewing one page on the site (a "bounce" means they only viewed one page and that they probably weren't interested in the website). Then you could click on London and see which traffic sources are leading to bounces (e.g., 75% of people from London who arrived on the site through Google didn't like the site and only viewed one page). Here's the video:
Motion charts plot your data in 5 dimensions. The video explains it:
