So I am writing a business plan to acquire the required loans and such to start our hostel. We need information on projected numbers.
1) What were your vacancy percentages did you have for the first 6 months by month? I am projecting 10% for the first month and increase by 10% for each month after that. Is this on par with what you saw?
2) If you own a hostel, would it be possible to get these records from you for our plan?
I hope I am not being too annoying/prying.

This is a short answer but data would vary wildly depending on your location. In addition, most hostels are seasonal so I doubt you would see 10% of occupancy increase per month. I don't think you are going to be full in 10 months and forever after that, no matter where you are. In our case, it took 3 years to make a profit on an annual basis. In general, you will want to hope for the best but plan for the worst.
