No Hostels in Venezuela?

Why are there no hostels in Venezuela?? Any idea, I have read some posts on here that say it would be a good idea, but then why has no one else done it?

There are a few (a very small number mind you)...they don't play with the big boys so much and they do very little online marketing but they are certainly out there...
