Pinterest finally moves into travel with Place Pins

The maps were built with the help of Foursquare, Stamen and MapBox, which is why they’re prettier than the usual Google or Bing Maps. Partners like Airbnb, Yelp and TripAdvisor are also providing structured data that shows up in the pins.
This sounds really good for hostels. With this feature, you could not only showcase your hostel, but also all of the great attractions and activities around you. All those pins will now be mapped and tagged to demonstrate how appealing your city is and what a great location you have within it.

Definitely very interesting for hostels to use this new feature of Pinterest, I think it can be another tool in the hostel marketer's toolbelt for increasing reservations in hostels. I was actually going to create a new thread on the topic, but I saw Brian (above) beat me to it!
