We just started our new hostel in Halkidiki, Greece and would like to ask you a question in case somebody knows. At this point the most visitors of Halkidiki are Bulgarian, Serbian, Romanian and Serbian. In my business plan i never took those countries' market under consideration as i relied upon the rest countries travellers where backpacking is more common. Things are running a bit slow though, so i am trying to find ways to advertise my business in Eastern Europe countries. Does anybody know if the backpackers market is substantial in those countries? Moreover, does anybody of you know if there are backpacker communities, organizations, forums etc where i could advertise my business?

Maybe try reaching out directly to other hostels in the Balkans and exchanging flyers and links.* That could open the lines of discussion for the other topic. Regional hostels would probably have information about it.

Contacting the hostels directly is a really good way to go. You might pick a few (or all) hostels in the bigger tourist cities in those countries to start with: Belgrade, Bucharest, Sofia for example. Consider choosing some in Budapest as well, because it is a feeder city for all of those areas. This might help you capture some of the backpackers traveling in the Balkans.
Out of curiosity, how do your current guests find your hostel? If the majority of your guests now are Bulgarian, Romanian, and Serbian, they are probably not finding out about you from hostels in those countries. In general, you're not likely to recruit Bulgarian travelers from a hostel in Bulgaria. That's great, because it might indicate an alternative marketing channel that is working well for you and that you could develop further.

The Pacot Breeze location listed is my family house where I grew up before I came to the US for my studies and so on… A couple of years ago we transformed it into a sort of Bed and Breakfast and added more stories and rooms to accommodate our guests. Therefore, we have several room and room types available. We have Hostel Beds (Dorm Room Type) for $15-$25 per night. We have single rooms ($30/night) with one queen size bed, double rooms ($40/night), with 2 smaller beds, and apartments ($75/night) of three rooms, a small living area, a kitchen with stove and fridge and 2 bathrooms. All the rooms have private bathrooms (single and double rooms). We also have studio type rooms which have a single room, plus a little kitchen with stove and fridge. Volunteers are considered as preferred guests therefore for long-stay volunteering cases (several weeks) arrangements (price reduction) will be made.
