Hi realm,
I am looking to start my hostel in malaysia and currently 75% done with the planning phase. I am down to the legal side of things + insurance and wondering how I can take it from here. For example, what sorts of license to apply for and what types of insurance to purchase to protect my company? Also, because of the nature of my environment, I am curious as to how the corruption issue in the country can possibly affect my operations?

I suggest reading these articles as a first step - I looked at it 2 yrs ago but was too costly to set up and I would also need to apply for a work permit in order to legally operate it
