Research for Hostel Portfolio

Im doing some research and putting together a portfolio to present to a "business partner" to open a Hostel in my area. Im having a hard time finding some numbers on the foot traffic for my area. I live in Central Florida - st pete - by the water and a historical area. Is there a site that can tell me or give me an idea on the amount of "Other" tourist that frequent this area that would be attracted to staying in a Hostel. Anything would be greatly appreciated. thank you.
