San Francisco airport turns on free WiFi for all

Airport WiFi has typically been awful. People who need to work online have to pay $10 while waiting for the flight, and then another $10 during the 90 minute layover. With one company you have to sign up for a recurring monthly subscription and call them on the phone to cancel.
I remember when WiFi first came out in airports. It was free. Then some companies worked together to make sure it wouldn't be free... if any of them got into an airport they let the other companies' customers roam there. They also did it in some of the chain coffee shops and fast food restaurants. The important thing was that WiFi wasn't a free service. Independent places still offered free WiFi though. :)
Hopefully more airports will make WiFi free as their contracts expire...
Are there any other major airports with free WiFi?
