I have recently acquired a parcel of land which is 560SQUARE METERS. It is about 15-20 steps from the one of the best beaches in Zanzibar.
I have already hired an architect to start on the plans and they have come back with a beautiful building which emcompasses the following:
13 rooms at about 30sqm each and have a balconies (ground floor rooms have private gardens)
We have a a ground floor reception-lounge-dining area that opens onto both the street and the courtyard
Ground Floor Courtyard with daybeds, pool etc
Third Floor Terrace with Bar, Lounge etc
At ground floor we have a small service “room” of about 35sqm that can house kitchen, laundry and the like
The building is three stories high (ground/street + 2)
At 50% occupancy, the hotel can easily generate upwards of $200,000USD per annum.
I currently have one hostel in Zanzibar and the market is growing. We have an end-goal to open a total of 5 properties on the island.
I am looking for an investor to take a portion of the business to help with construction costs of the property. I would run the property after completion.

what is your current occupancy rate for last 3 years ?
50% occupancy seesmvery high given seassonal variations?
what are the running costs, well all the numbers of current hostel
