Hi Ken,
If you come to San Francisco, please message me to discuss options for staying at my hostel. We do not list on Hostelworld or Booking.com so we are all about the SEO. Our new website should be up in about a week or so.
Darren
So, this is my story.
I'm planning to go on a year-long journey around the world, but want to combine this with work, so this will be somewhat cheaper.
My plan is to go to 6 different countries, where I stay 2 months in each country/hostel.
I have a very sought after skill, which is SEO. I think I'm good in ranking hostel sites higher in the Google search engine, boost your reviews, get you look more attractive in directories like tripadvisor, booking, hostelworld etc....
I also have a bachelor's degree in Tourism and my best characteristic is that I am optimistic. I speak Dutch (Native), French, Spanish, English, and notions of German. I like to learn new languages, so it's definitely a plus for you if your hostel is in a country where the native language is a different one I don't speak.
I can do other jobs as well (cleaning, reception, etc..), but would LOVE IT if somebody needs marketing (and particular SEO) as their main help.
After the 2 months are over, I am planning to go to another hostel in a different country, but I will still help you with the online marketing (so 6 hostels around the world will have my exclusive help). I'm also now some travel blogs, and I am planning to document this journey on my own blog as well.
Let me know what you think of this idea, and if you are interested.
Thanks
Ken

Hey Darren,
Sadly I haven't got that much budget, so I am looking for someone who can buy airfare (one way) + free accommodation as well.
Would love to visit San Francisco actually!
I understand if this is to much to ask, but I'm quite confident in my skills.
If your website is live, feel free to send me the URL. I might be able to give you some tips and tricks remote as well.

Also check out facebook groups for hostel staff.
Some of them are pretty active, you may have better luck there.
