It would be interesting to find out about the hostels legislation in different countries , in order to compare and to figure out some universal or unified idea about the ideal building for the hostel.
At the present time I run the apart-hostel , which later will definitely will not be qualified as a hostel.
The reason is , that at the present time , in the country where I live , there is no hostels legislation.
''The hostel'' is not certain in the legislation of the countries laws , and the separate adjusting of their activity is not foreseen , so private apartments that are rented out do not fall into the category of hotels and considered to be ''other accommodation'' according to the law and are not subjected to the same law.
So , at the present time I need just two papers.
1 ) to be registered and to have certificate of the subject of entrepreneurial activity ( SPD )
2 ) to have legal and correct tax documents ( Certificate )
So , according to the law , no organization , or goverment authorities can enter private apartments for conducting inspections , investigations or other matters for an exception of the reason of court in criminal case.
Apartments function as a hostel at the present moment , but the time will come , when I shall need to change the address just because , apartment probably not always will be considered as a hostel , or might will need more extra permits ( neighbours signatures , fire department permit )
May be later , in this area or even in this house there will be no permit to have a hostel . ( the building is the cultural monument )
Any way , I know that in the future I must purchase some building for the hostel , and I am just thinking before to get that property I must get the proper property which will be fittable for the hostels property.
For example , if I shall get the property , and later I shall not be allowed to have a hostel there , so what had been the point for me to get that property ?
I need to get a property which will definitely fit for the hostel , even if at the moment there is no hostels legislation.
I have the possibility to get the property
I am thinking like this
1 ) what is better 80m2 in the heart of city center , or 160m2 not in the center.
2 ) there must be - the separate entrance. that i would'nt have the neighbors , right ?
because , may be in the future when there will be hostels legislation , they will require neighbors signatures
3 ) it must definitely be the first floor , or may be even independent building.
4 ) what about neighborhood , if some quiet elite society lives there , or some cultural area , then it might not be the best place to own the property , right ?
Any other ideas about , the ideal place to own the property for the hostel ?
