hi everyone,
i live in budapest,
and i was planning to start a hostel in my appartment this summer,
not a big one...
just somewhere with beds, kicthen, cable tv, bathroom, telephone..

i was wondering what i need to do?
how i can advertise the hostel?
what shall be a good price (per night/per person) for the accomidation i can give,
the appartment is very central, one of the best locations in town.
easy to reach...

*the appartment is broken in to 2 small appartments (1 is mine the other is my friends),
so there are 2 seperate entrences, each one with seperate bathroom and kitchen, in the total they're 110Meter Square + soome 40 meter gallery (*half second floor)

so i wanted ot know any tips on how i should do it,
or what i should do/change before i start it?

can i buy matresses or do i need fully furnished beds?

thank you in advance...
all opinions are welcome, (since i have no previouse experience in this area)

I like to stay at hostels for the sociability, meeting and chatting to other travellers. If your hostel comprises 2 separate apartments with 2 locked doors between them, then it will feel like 2 separate hostels, the people in one will not easily meet those in the other. If your common room is small (it sounds as if it is just a kitchen), then please do not put a TV in it! We don't visit Budapest to watch TV, and if the first person in the room puts the TV on, or if you have a long stay guest who HAS come to Budapest to sit around watching TV, it stays on and later guests feel less welcome.
