Interesting - 60% return stays!? You should mention that on your website. That´s imressive proof your guests like your place.
If you feel OK sharing this information, where are your hostel guests from?
Out of curiosity, I'm mostly interested in the number of Americans at non-US hostels.
10% American? 40% American?

It's a great hostel. I've been there a few times.
Those figures are interesting. I wonder if North Americans tend to book online in advance more than other nationalities.

No doubt about it. But how much spontaneity does it take away from their holiday?

I wonder why that is. Maybe Europeans are more used to traveling to foreign countries?

probably. id say a trip down to spain for a german isnt quite the big step it is for an american to come across. its probably equivalent of heading down to florida.

USA 22%
It's interesting that the largest percentage is from the USA. Is there anyone here who doesn't have their highest percentage of guests from the USA?

That´s interesting. When I was travelling in South America (4 trips between 1993 and 2000) at least half of the backpackers were either German or Israeli. There were no Americans at all.

I hate to say it, but without America we would all be f*cked. The number of guests from Europe is constantly increasing though.

I hardly saw any Americans in Argentina. I didn't spend much time in B.A. though.
