Which booking engine I should choose

Hi there I have an important question to submit.

i would like to ask you an info regarding the booking engine I should adopt for my website in order to get booking directly from it...I have seen some providers like hostelbookers or hostelsclub ecc...but i dont' know who might be the best

My big concern it is the fact that I would like an internal booking engine that would allow to interface myself with other external booking engines....for instance if I buy an internal booking engine that is powered by hostelsclub I would like at the same time to interface myself with the booking situation of hostelworld boking engine, hostelbooking and so on to have the chance to update them ...if this is not possible or too expensive please let me know which one is more effective in your opinion, thanks

There are a few systems that auto-sync with multiple booking engines. The three that are mentioned here most often are HostelOffice, Charts Backpacker, and ASSD/GOMIO.

Hostelworld has a software package called Backpack Online, but it only syncs with Hostelworld.

One thing to consider is will your website charge travelers a booking fee when they book on your own website? I think that travelers don't like or understand booking fees on the hostel's own website. IMHO, the hostel should absorb that fee and not make it obvious that the traveler is paying for the hostel's software :)
