Will this be a good Hostel in Lisbon?
Hello Everybody,
I've been following this great forum for quite some time, and I have to give my congratulations to every participant, as this is a great value for our business, and I feel that it exists a sincere effort in cooperation.
I'm opening a new Hostel in Lisbon. You all must think that I'm crazy, because of the high standard of this city, but during the following weeks, I'll explain and show why I'm doing it.
For now I'll leave you some images of the building prior do renovation.
Best Regards!

Yes, the building seems to have good potential. Nice big balconies (good for people gathering), light well to provide good natural lighting during the day, many external and internal windows, fireplace...
If the surrounding area and scenery look as good as the building, seems like a keeper.

Hello agian,
my company is speccialized in Real State in the center of Lisbon, but we had the interest in doing an Hostel. When we found this building, the decision was easy.
The building is an 18th century Palace, with 4 meters high ceilings, fantastic doors, and decorations on the walls, fireplaces, a garden and an astonishing view.
The location, I'll tell you later!
Some more fotos below.

Hello again,
After a big indecision on the Hostel name we already decided what will be called.
It will be the PALACE LISBON HOSTEL
This was a dificult decision, as different opinions appeared all the time.
This was our first choice. But at the end we where balancing between Babel Hostel. But Palace was the one, because the Building is an XVIII century Palace, and the architecture, details and situation is certainly as something singular.
Here is our logo in attachment.
We wanted to integrate the Garden and outside space in our image. After a lot of work, and indecisions we achieved this final Logo.
What do you think?
regards,
PLH

Seems very nice to me, clean, objective and it shows a lot of character, maybe you reach the point how you should positioning your hostel to your clients... ;-)

Our Hostel is finnaly open for business.
Sorry for just putting these lines now, but it has been a lot of work for opening the Hostel.
It where some crazy days, with a millions runs to stores of furniture and construction material. I never thought that equiping such a thing would be this kind of nightmare.
But when we look to the final result, it pays off.
check the photos below, and take a look to our site (under construction yet)

regards and hope to see you soon

Am I reading correctly? Have you gone from a potential site in April to open for business in July? That's pretty quick if that's the case!
