Dear Visitor!
For wirting my second bacholer thesis i need to do a survey! The survey seeks to determine which of the services and facilities provided by a youth hostel to their guests (backpackers and others) are considered as important attributes resulting in overall satisfaction and increasing the likelihood of future stays in the hostel or recommendation. Your help in this study is highly appreciated! Filling out this easy questionnaire will not take longer than 7 minutes and will be of great help for me to finish my studies at the IMC University of Applied Science in Krems, Austria! Please HELP ;)

I WILL publish the results of this survey here in this forum and will give you detailed information about the thesis!
Thank you very much

Amin, I just took a look at your questions. They are all good things for a youth hostel to have, and therefore for virtually every question, I and everyone else would "strongly agree".
But I think what you really want to know is not: "Do you agree or disagree" but "How important do you think this feature is?"
eg: "A youth hostel should not have bunk beds". I might vote 5. That does not mean: "I think that a hostel SHOULD HAVE bunk beds." I want to say: "I don't think it's important for a hostel whether it has bunk beds or not (but I like it a little more if it has no bunk beds)."
eg:"A youth hostel should have restaurant and room service menus that include healthful and/or special diet options." I strongly disagree. No, I don't mean that there should NOT BE healthful options! I mean it's not important (usually) whether a youth hostel has a restaurant. And youth hostels never have room service.
I suggest you phrase your request as: "How important do you regard this feature? "

If you want, you could put the survey as open-ended questions on the forum here, and you might get more comprehensive replies...

That works quite well. A few little points:
1) The final Close Window does not work. This is not too important, except for item 2) below.
2) Make the questionaire open in a new window. When you finish it, you can't get back to hostelmanagement.com .
3) Some of the questions don't fit well for small hostels (under 30 beds) which are some of the best hostels.
4) Many hostels do not provide meals. This is fine provided they have a self-catering kitchen, and/or there are low-cost meal options nearby. For these, the meal quality questions are confusing.
5) Thank you for NOT making any of the questions "compulsory"! Many questionaires have not had a reply from me because they force me to answer a question that I cannot or will not.
