North Cyprus?

Hi Everyone!

I will be acquiring a new house in North Cyprus, right in the city centre, very very central in Nicosia (Lekfosa). This is the capital of the Turkish Republic of North Cyprus, and the turkish side of Nicosia. The house has been left to me by my aunt who passed away. It is massive, like 8 bedrooms, plus many other rooms, dining rooms, living rooms etc. I am thinking of turning into the first Hostel in North Cyprus? I would have NO rent to pay lol. I have always wanted to start a hostel but have had no money litreally. I feel like the place has chosen me as opposed to me choosing the place. However i am dubious as to whether i would actually get any guests. I have done some research. Most tourism is centered around Kyrenia and Farmagusta as beach resorts and we do get a LOT of tourists in North Cyprus. Only cheap hotels are avaliable in those locations - not hostels. People come to Nicosia more for a day trip, and there are a couple of 3-4 star hotels around. There is definately a lot to see and do there, the big major historical attractions etc. But whether id get backpackers - who wanna stay the night. i do not know? it is such a primative market. I would really appreciate just some feedback from people as to what they know, what they think of this idea???? Anything is appeciated....thanks you guys...

p.s I live in London, born and raised, but am originally from North Cyprus, have only ever been there a couple of times in my whole life...
